A huge thunder/hailstorm recorded in pretoria, south africa at around 16:36. The radar reflectivity of this storm was around 63dbz. Recorder used: zoom h1 built in microphones. Please comment or suggest anything.

The tail end of a rumble of thunder. I chopped off everything above 1. 5khz or so, since is was all background noise. Recorded with a tascam dr-07 mk. Ii microphone and a røde dead kitten windscreen.

The sound of rain falling interspersed with rumbles of thunder at varying volumes. A lovely, rich recording. The audio is raw, so you'll need to amplify it to suit your needs. Thunder storm in london, it happened in the early hours so traffic noise is low. There's a little hiss from the recorder, some of it is rain though. I've uploaded the whole file, its pretty big, i can upload an mp3 if anyone needs it.

This was captured on may 14th in azeitão, portugal, during a very cloudy and rainy day.

This is thunder and rain.

This was a fairly small air mass thunderstorm, only a few km across. However, it made up for its size with amplitude, becoming the largest attention seeker for miles around. Listen at -07:12 for some of the strangest thunder i have ever heard. . . Recorded with a rode stero videomic pro.
